Planning map up!
I’ve been playing around with the Google Maps API and it is surprisingly simple to use. The examples in the documentation are great. I have put together a map to aid us in planning our route. See the map here. The data points are driven from a custom-designed XML file and the icons are different depending on if the location is a community or just an individual friend/family member.
